ROX WATER MAKES BALMAIN BUGS EASIER AT SEAN'S KITCHEN

As SMH Chef of the Year for 2008, Sean Connolly of Sean's Kitchen at Star City in Sydney www.seanskitchen.com.au knows what whets the appetite of discerning diners, particularly those with a taste for some of the finest seafood available. Since Sean's Kitchen serves up so many swimmer crabs, Balmain bugs, and other favourites, they've long been in the market for a way to tame the fishy odour and the slime involved in preparing these slippery devils.
Enter eWater's ROX 10 system. Now, instead of fighting to keep the upper hand on slick and sometimes smelly seafood, Sean and his staff simply place seafood on a cutting board under their ROX 10 system, then clean and sanitize the fish with a safe electrolyzed water solution straight from the ROX faucets. ROX makes the whole preparation process more efficient and pleasant, without tainting the taste of the fish in any way.
At Sean's kitchen staff use their ROX10 to clean and sanitize cutting boards, knives, and other surfaces and implements used in preparation. And every day they're finding new uses for ROX.
According to Adam Starr, Sous Chef at Sean's Kitchen, he and the rest of the team have come to prefer the safe, simple power and versatility of ROX over other cleaning and sanitizing methods. "We're now using ROX Water to polish plates, rinse herbs and lettuces, clean away oils, and wash down benches. We're even experimenting with cooking using ROX's alkaline water for example adding it to butter sauces as a way to stabilize them and enhance flavour......"
ROX Water is becoming an indispensable part of Sean's Kitchen, from prep to plate and back again.

NEW HANDS-FREE SENSOR LIGHTS THE WAY TO AN EVEN BETTER ROX WATER SYSTEM

After several years in R&D in Japan, the new ROX Water VDW auto sensor dispensing unit has arrived in Australia. This innovative hands-free dispenser uses an infrared sensor to deliver both cleaning and sanitizing water from a single faucet. A compact above-sink unit the VDW is perfect for hands-free hand washing, meaning food prep without dangerous cross contamination. The VDW even illuminates the type of water being dispensed - blue for cleaning water and red for sanitizing water. Better still, the new ROX system does it all at a 30% cost saving over previous models.

MICRO RESEARCH SHOWS ROX WATER WORKING HARD AT MCG

The ROX technology recently sailed through a punishing test at the MCG with flying colours, centred on a particularly difficult wheelie bin test. Wheelie bins were sprayed with ROX Sanitizing water and then results subjected to microscopic examination by a leading Melbourne laboratory. The result? Safe and affordable ROX Water was found to be highly effective at eliminating micro-organisms and pathogens from the bins.  "The use of a ROX sanitizing spray significantly reduces the microbial counts," said Neil Barlett from Food Laboratories Australia. "While the level of reduction may depend on the condition of the bin initially however, the ROX treatment is shown to be effective at sanitizing these bins."

According to Kevin Ferguson, Venue Presentation Manager Melbourne Cricket Club, "After a lengthy assessment and research process we're committed to a ROX system at the MCC. We see this new technology as a real alternative to traditional chemical cleaners and sanitizers. There is also a positive effect on the environment and we will be looking at broadening its use across the site in the near future. As a clean chemical free product ROX fits perfectly within the ESD, environmental and water saving plans at the MCC ".

The ROX20 system is now fully operational at the MCG and further trials are under way for a wide variety of other uses.

MONEY-SAVING GOVERNMENT TAX BREAK MEANS THERE'S NEVER BEEN A BETTER TIME TO INVEST IN ROX

As reported in the last issue of eWater eNews, December, 2009 is the deadline to get in on the government's 30% to 50% investment allowance

http://www.ewatersystems.com.au/e-water/media/investment-allowance-09.pdf

For businesses under $2million , the 50% savings translates to getting all the power and convenience of a ROX 10 system for a potential saving of $1200.

Example saving
Purchase price ROX10 WB     $8000.00
50% deduction                          $4000.00
Tax rate 30%
Saving  total                              $1200.00

That marks the effective price of the unit down to $6800.00.

Even without the tax break most cost benefit analyses we've undertaken indicate a positive return on investment in around 24 -30 months. With a consumable cost of less than .03c per litre of ROX Water the potential savings on chemical cleaners and sanitizers is huge.

So it's a great time to take advantage of this limited opportunity to invest in ROX Water -  and you'll also be investing in a more healthy, efficient, and profitable operation for years to come.
