At the moment in Japan on tour with the Hoshizaki people, manufacturers of ROX Water systems. Hoshizaki HQ is in Nagoya, they are a global company, employing around 10,000 people, and their products seem everywhere in Japan. Commercial fridges, ice makers, drink dispensers, sushi cabinets. And ROX Water systems.
Since the release of the first ROX model around 16 years ago they’ve sold 30,000 ROX systems in Japan. I’ve been visiting installed sites on a “study tour” and seeing some of the array of applications that replace traditional chemical sanitizers and cleaners. To date, that means from aged care (elder care as its known in Japan) to kinder gardens, from egg packers to seafood processors. Restaurants to supermarkets. And in between having some amazing cultural experiences, particularly around food and conversation (and sake).
Will write more about specifics when I catch my breath.
